Dominion Energy Wateree Station Public Meeting/Hearing

SCDES is seeking input on the proposed reissuance of an NPDES Wastewater Individual Permit application for Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc./Wateree Station.
The meeting/hearing will be held Nov. 18, 2025, at the Richland County Recreation Commission – Eastover Park, 1031 Main Street, Eastover, SC 29044. The public meeting will begin at 6:00 pm followed by a public hearing at 7:00 pm. During the meeting, SCDES staff will provide a brief technical presentation on the draft NPDES permit and then be available to answer questions. During the hearing, SCDES will accept oral comments on the draft NPDES permit but will not answer questions.
Comments will be accepted through Nov. 20, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Comments may be submitted electronically by through ePermitting, by email to Byron.Amick@des.sc.gov, or postal mail to SCDES, Bureau of Water, Water Facilities Permitting Division, 2600 Bull St., Columbia, SC, 29201. Any individuals with disabilities or special needs who wish to participate or review SCDES’s files should contact the Permit Engineer, to discuss any special aids or services required.
