Application Materials and Steps

This page contains all the essential materials and forms needed to complete a successful application. If you have questions, please reach out to DERA@des.sc.gov. We encourage applicants to review the 2023-2024 DERA State Guide as well as the Eligibility Criterion, Solutions, and Cost-Share Page on the DES DERA website.

Below is a summary of required forms and information to be completed and attached to the final application packet. Please refer to the FFY2024 RFP attached below for additional guidance and key project stipulations. Submit completed packets to DERA@des.sc.gov.

2. Eligibility Statement
3. Emissions Reduction Estimator using EPA’s Diesel Emission Quantifier (DEQ)
4. Required photos of vehicle/engine/equipment outlined in the RFP
5. Additional information outlined in the RFP regarding:
   1. Project timeline and budget
   2. Project meeting evaluation criteria
   3. Details on the vehicle/equipment to be scrapped
   4. Details on the replacement vehicle/equipment
