During this Permit Central Rock Hill Workshop, engineers, developers, elected officials, local government agencies, and other stakeholders can receive important information about the agency's continuous improvements to its environmental permitting processes. Myra Reece, SCDES Director, and Dr. Edward A. Serna, President of Winthrop University, will welcome attendees before introducing SCDES staff to discuss successes in permitting process enhancements and the ongoing efforts that are contributing to reduced timeframes for issuing environmental permits.
